People have always been intrigued about what the future will look like. Some people believe that our future will become better and will bring us new opportunities, while others suppose that the future will become worse and worse.
From my point of view, I am optimistic about future. To begin with, we have already seen great technological advances over last fifty years and the next fifty years are going to be equally exciting. For example, scientists will have invented robots that will be doing all the dangerous and hard work. Moreover, medicine will have conquered many diseases such as AIDS and cancer. Finally, I think that we will get the entertainment through the Internet and TV will disappear.
On the contrary, there are many pessimists who are worried about activity of terrorists and possibility of nuclear wars. Furthermore, they also say that our environment is in a sorry state.
Nevertheless, I believe that people will be able to control weapons because they understand about consequences that nuclear wars might have. In addition, we will be taking care of our environment and in the future people will drive petrol – free cars, drink purified water and recycle rubbish.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that in the future we will solve all our problems and will live happily. History shows that people can make right decisions, and it is a good reason for being optimistic about our future.
